The most interesting Jeffrey Campbell shoes

I don't know where I'd wear half (all) of these, but I'd sure like to own them..
I actually like these, it's a cool combination of sandal and wedge. I want these, someone buy them for me.
Whoa, like, what?! Like, what? Though it would go well with a Halloween outfit.
On those nights I decide to walk down a sketchy alleyway, you will be my BFF.
Not meant for people who need orthotics, zero arch support and all.
I know it's a 'design' thing, but it just looks like someone cut some printing paper artfully and stuck it on. Maybe that's the inspiration behind this: cut-paper-cuz-I-was-bored-but-hey-let-me-glue-it-to-my-shoe-omg-it's-fab.
I like these too, the whole dragon thing totally does it for me.
Okay that's all I got. Dude's got some out there ideas. At least they are identifiable as shoes. At least they function as footwear, except that no arch one. That one looks like it'll introduce me to a new kind of foot pain, one I'd never like to know.

Aquafina Lip balm

I love this lip balm! That pretty much sums up how I feel about this lip balm. It's the best. Okay that's one more thing that spells out my feelings. I apply it at night before bed and it keeps my lips moist all night. It's amazing. I love the peppermint in it too, it makes my lips tingle, although sometimes my lips kind of go numb, but it's not too bad and definitely not a negative for me. I hope they never stop making it, or I won't know what to do with my life anymore :(

Baggu Bags

I've known about Baggu bags for a while now and have always found them adorable. Multiples in a range of colours stop me in my tracks okay? I'm weak like that lol. Anyway, visited their website recently and they have a lot more products than the original reusable Baggu bag now. The leathers and neon especially catch my interest. I wonder if any Baggu bags are stocked anywhere in Toronto so I can physically check them out.

Sweet as Jelly Beans!

I absolutely LOVE jelly beans. It's so unhealthy, it's just sugar with some flavours added to it! But omg, it's sooo good! I could eat them all day. Just keep popping them in my mouth one after the other lol. I especially like the pink coloured ones which usually are berry flavours. One time I found strawberry cheesecake flavoured jelly beans and I was simply blown away. At that moment I felt there was nothing else in this world that could taste that good lol. Unfortunately I can't find it anymore in Toronto :(

This iPhone jelly beans cover is so adorable! And guess what? Totally guilt free since I'm not ingesting any sugary jelly beans (unless one day I "accidentally" start chewing on my phone cover, then you can charge me as guilty lol.. for phone eating :D).

Miracle 10 Eye Treatment Review

I've never done any reviews on this blog before so I don't know how good of a review I can do, but I'm going to give it a try :D

In one short sentence: I like this eye cream. Before starting on this I wasn't really using any eye creams but as I get older (I'm in my mid 20s now) I feel I should start taking care of myself more and take precautions against aging and blah blah. I'm not too big on anti-aging stuff either as I have tried an anti-aging eye cream before from a reputable brand but I woke up next morning with REALLY PUFFY EYES! I couldn't even open my eyes properly, I guess the cream worked too well. I didn't leave home that day.

Back to this eye cream, when I bought it I specifically mentioned I don't want anything with anti-aging to the uh.. consulting sales lady (I don't know what to call them lol). She told me this keeps my eye area moisturized and plumped so new lines don't get a chance to set in. I also mentioned I'd like my dark circles to be reduced if not be gone, my dark circles are really really dark, I've been called panda several times so you get the picture :( The lady mentioned I could drink more water (I admit I don't drink nearly enough, water is gross lol) and apply this cream and the combo of the two would help lighten my panda circles.

I've been trying this cream for 6 months now, from Fall until the start of Spring (Spring is so delayed here in Toronto. Come on Spring, I want to stop wearing my jacket already!). I put it on twice daily once after washing my face in the morning and again before bedtime. I do think this eye cream has helped keep my eye area moisturized through the night as well as during the day. My skin tends to become slightly dry during winter (I have oily skin) and this has reduced the tightness by a quite a bit. The skin around my eyes is also softer now. Make-up goes on smoother too.

I have this something I call valleys under my eyes, which look a lot like Itachi's eyes from Naruto (you may google him if you don't know him) (I'm not an otaku, really! Maybe just a little bit :D). My valleys used to be quite deep and I don't like them. They emphasized my dark circles even more. Now my valleys are less sunken and more plumpy and my dark circles don't look quite as bad as they used to, which is awesome!

As for dark circles themselves, they aren't completely gone but I'm glad they are reduced. I followed the lady's advice and started drinking more water. I've also been sleeping a lot better than I used to (8-12 hours now compared to barely 4 hours before) (are you shocked I can sleep for 12 hours? I like sleeping okay!) I'm also less stressed now than before when I was in school. And I've been using this cream religiously (okay I lie, I forget sometimes). So due to the combination of all of these factors, my dark circles, and the general skin around my eyes has gotten a lot better. I doubt the darkness will ever disappear but I'm quite happy with how they are now and maybe they'll continue to get better?

Almost forgot to mention, I have really sensitive eyes (apparently). Most creams, or other things like mascara, make my eye sting and I look like I've been crying since my eyes are so red. This cream doesn't make me scream in pain (okay I don't really scream in pain, but the slight burning through out the day is annoying) and for that I'm quite thankful.

That's my review! Holy I typed a lot! But I guess in terms of skin care the more information there is the better. Hope you enjoyed it, dear reader :D

Hair Chalk

I want to try hair chalk this summer. It seems so fun looking and it doesn't require a commitment. Frankly I'm scared to dye my hair at all for fear of damage, breakage, baldness. So hair chalk just seems right. Now I just have to go find it, and try it on my dark hair, and try to not get chalk all over my clothes somehow..

I can't seem to pin point the sources of the pictures, so I've linked them to where I found them, click on images to go to Pinterest page.

Deryck Todd Caps

To be honest, I don't really have the guts to wear these. They're a bit too out there for me. But I'm really liking caps for summer this year. I'm also suffering from premature baldness (okay I exaggerate, but the thinning bothers me). I think I might take inspiration from these caps and DIY my own, something a little less.. blingy.. Bought some caps from Dollarama, now to decorate them!

Spiked Necklaces

I'm kind of obsessing over spiked jewellery at the moment. Or maybe they are called studded jewellery? It all started when I discovered designer Mawi Keivom's pieces. They are all
so gorgeous! They have a badass feel to them but at the same time they have a classic girly girl vibe. The sparkly crystals and hanging studs do it for me. I can stare at them all day..

H&M Conscious 2013

Being an H&M fan, I always look forward to their updates every season. I've quite like the Conscious Collection they come out with every year too. I sometimes find that a lot of really nice looking stuff is offered at exceptionally low prices for the Collection too, which seriously rocks since it's killing two (or more) birds with one stone. I get to be eco, not blow my budget and wear pretty things :D

This year's spring Conscious Collection comes out on March 25th. I must say a lot of the stuff is just not appealing to me this time. I liked the Garden Collection and the White Collection the most. But still I think I'll be picking up these items from this year's collection.

Things I want but can never have..

The whole point of this blog is to list and elaborate about all the stuff I want. Yet there's stuff I can never have. I mean, I can have them but I don't think I should allow myself to. It'll be dangerous. For example these iPhone cases. JUST LOOK AT THEM! If I had one of these on me I'd always be hungry. Simply looking at my phone would make me salivate. Heck, looking at the pictures of these is making my tummy rumble. If I had one of these I'd always feel unsatisfied (apetite wise). I'll eat all the foods I can get my hands on. When I've finished everything edible (in the world), I'll become some sort of case eating freak. When that isn't enough, I'll probably proceed to devour everything (EVERYTHING) in sight. I'll become a monster!

Therefore I shall keep away from these awesome realistic food model iPhone cases. Case closed (bad pun).

Red Cables

I know this winter is almost over (yay!) but I'm craving to get a bright red cable knit sweater. Maybe I'll snap one up on sale if I find one (are there still winter stuff sales going on at this time of year?). I could wear it next winter (dread.. it's okay, it's too far away to think about now :D).

Another oldie but something I got recently is my new cat ear headband! I looove cats! Seriously, if I could mar.. okay no, but I love cats :D So I just had to get this one. Gosh, simply looking at it makes me really giddy. Can't wait to wear it out!

J.W. Anderson x Topshop

J.W. Anderson x Topshop collection releases this week at the Queen St. location in Toronto. While the collection is a bit out of price range for me, I may just stop by the store to touch and stare (and maybe impulse buy if my heart screams louder and my brain can't send stop messages to the hand reaching for credit card in time). Here's my picks from the collection:

Creeper Jeeper

Another old trend that I'm diggin (I'm late okay! lol) are creepers. I've been meaning to get them and finally found a pair that are creeperish. I would've preffered some with the rugged edges but these were on sale and I could not resist :D

Tattoo Tights

This might be old stuff for most people but I'm in looove with the look of tattoo tights! They are so brilliant for so many reasons. First, I don't really like how my bare legs look, they are.. very imperfect. With these I can sport the bare legs look (in warmer weather.. ah spring, plz come sooner..) but still have a bit of cover up. Second, I can't get tattoos, I mean, I can, but my fear of needles won't let me. I forgo major medical tests for my phobia, there is no way I would willingly sit through a decorative pain session. Third, I have major commitment issues (in several aspects of my life, sigh..), I'd definitely get bored of the permanent accessory (or maybe not, the reminder of pain may make me cringe every time I think about it, shudder). So these are so perfect for me. These Harajuku girls wear them so pretty.

Pink Doctor

I have a pair of tartan Doc Martens and they have been a big help in Toronto's snowy weather lately (remember the day it snow stormed? Remember the day Lady Gaga's concert was? Guess what, they were both on the same day! And guess what I did? I walked down the street in knee-deep snow, stood at the bus stop for 30 mins where there was also knee-deep snow, and went downtown to the concert, which took me a grand total of 3 hours due to several delays and cancellations of services. Mum said I was crazy, but I can't just waste $110 okay! Concert was awesome. End of in-bracket story).

So I have been really appreciating my docs and looking at other awesome docs out there. Their spring line is up. These caught my eye..

Alien Toes

Whenever I wear these socks and I happen to be shoeless, I turn a lot of heads. Then I do the toe stretch where I fan out my toes and flex them back and forth, that definitely freaks a few people out! And I have a lot of fun seeing people's reactions, it's a weird hobby of mine :D.

All from eBay. Click on image or the link below for item page.

Soft Cute Steps

Recently I've been rather obsessed with house slippers, CUTE house slippers. I live in Canada and it is freezing here right now. My heating system is not exactly fabulous either (read: I have to wear a sweater robe at home to keep warm, two blankets to sleep, other measures..). Or maybe I just feel extra cold all the time..

I never really thought of wearing footwear at home though, I mean, I have to wear them when I go outside, I thought I'd like my feet to be free of all fabric when I'm at home. But then I bought my first pair of house slippers, and omg! The fabric is so soft, the slippers themselves are so light and airy. I didn't feel like I was wearing anything at all. But most important of all, it was sooo warm~~!!

Now I've started to make an eBay list of all the house slippers I want when my current slippers are out of shape (and I can't wait for that to happen). Click on image to take you to item page.
